🎶WELLBEING THROUGH PIANO🎶: some time to put YOU first! 🎹
Too often we put others first: our jobs, our chores, all the million and one things we have to do.
Where are WE in all this?
So why not grab a glass of wine, or a herbal tea, or or even just some iced water, and come and take part in one of my SUPER RELAXED Piano Doodling and Wellbeing online evening classes?
Who’s it for?
🎹 Adults approx Grade 2 to Grade 8 and beyond standard.
🎹 What’s it about?
It’s a chance to gently unwind through doodling and playing creatively with given ideas that I suggest (never in front of others, as you will muted so that you can be truly uninhibited!). The idea is that you rest wholly in the moment - a true chance to unwind for an hour!
🎹 What do I need?
A piano and an internet connection….and, of course, a love of music and the freedom of doodling.
🎹 Do I need to be experienced in improvising?
Absolutely not. I will give you lots of ideas and you’re free to explore them at your own level, whether you’re a total improvisation novice or if you have done lots before, or even teach the piano and use improvisation as a tool!
🎹 What’s the goal?
It’s simply this: to carve out an hour for yourself in this crazy, full-on world, and to have some further ideas for doodling at the piano that you can take forward and use yourself whenever you choose!

This is a gentle pattern piece for Early Elementary piano students based around the C major pentascale. It uses plenty of pedal and the softest of wrist rotations. It’s in a relaxed contemporary style.
This is a reflective piece for Early Elementary students. It has a slightly poignant mood, and is a chance to explore infrequent changes of pedal, hand crossing and a warm tone.
It is designed as a pattern piece, to be learnt by rote.
